Nico de Bruijn and Patrick van Kruining (founders of Ingenieursburo AKM) and Rob Ligteringen (founder of Tracé architectuur) met each other when they worked together on a housing project for a shared business relation. This project was very successful and both companies decided to continue this coöperation.
Both AKM and Tracé have long term experience in all kind of projects in Holland and abroad. We designed, engineered and developed houses, warehouses, office buildings, hotels and hospitals.
AKM Global Architecture is formed to create a strategic partnership in order to operate in overseas projects. AKM GLobal Architecture specialises in international architectural design, construction engineering, financial management and project control. Our (inter)national partnerships and extensive business network allow us to work for foreign construction companies, national governments and private investors.
From our office in Barendrecht, situated near Rotterdam in the Netherlands, we operate worldwide in the realization of durable and innovative projects.
